June 2016 marks the 19th Annual New York State Cyber Security Conference and 11th Annual Symposium on Information Assurance (ASIA) and we invite you to join us for this nationally recognized event. The event takes place June 8 and 9 in Albany, N.Y. and is cohosted by the New York State Office of Information Technology Services, the University at Albany’s School of Business, and The New York State Forum, Inc.
This year’s theme is “Focusing the Cyber Security Lens.” We continue to see significant data breaches and cyber attacks across all sectors; it’s no longer a matter of “if” you’ll be impacted by a cyber event, it’s “when.” We must be as prepared as possible, and that means prioritizing our risks and focusing efforts to minimize those risks. This conference offers something for everyone–whether you’re an end user, IT professional, government employee, or business owner. This year, we will also focus the lens on key sectors including finance, health, and energy, along with sessions for local governments and small businesses.
Join more than 1,000 of your colleagues from the public and private sectors who attend this conference. Hear from leading experts in the industry and participate in engaging sessions that provide real-world information you can apply immediately in minimizing the cyber risks in your own environment.
