A Ransomware group called “OldGremlin” are behind a recent attack on August 11th against a clinical diagnostics laboratory. The group has only targeted Russian companies so far. Groups like these use Russia as a testing ground then switch to other geographies to distance themselves from vicious actions of the victim’s countries policy.
