Apple announced that macOS users that send encrypted email, through Apple Email, could be sending emails that are actually not encrypted at all. Apple also stated that only portions of the email are left un-encrypted and that could be found in a file that stored snippets of the email. They are working on a software update to fix the issue, but in the meantime, Apple suggests turning off a setting within Apple Mail and deleted the old snippet files for older emails.
