Since the Covid-19 outbreak, there has been a lot of personnel that have volunteered to help stop cyberattacks. The goal is to combat hacks against medical facilities and other frontline responders to the pandemic, as well as helping defend communication networks and services. During a pandemic one of the worst possible cyber hacks would-be manufacturers of protective gear, testing kits, or hospitals. Interpol recently issued a warning to law enforcement that there has been an increase in cyberattacks against key organizations and infrastructures that respond to the virus.
