The FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) released their 2019 Internet Crime Report, which showed that victims lost $3.5 billion due to cybercrime. The total reported loss for people over the age of 60 was $835,164,766. People under the age of 20 reported $421,169,232 in losses. 2019 brought the highest number of complaints and highest losses since the IC3 opened 20 years ago.
