Mozilla recently patched a flaw in Firefox for Android that could allow cybercriminals to hijack devices that were connected to the same network and running the app. This security flaw could force users to visit sites containing malicious content, resulting in phishing attacks or malware downloads. Chris Moberly, the security researcher who found the vulnerability, said that the user only needed to have the Firefox app running on their phone in order to be a victim.
