Denial of service attacks have occurred to users of Wikipedia & Blizzard Entertainment. According to “Down Detector” (A third-party service) Wikipedia was first impacted on Friday (9/6) for millions of users from Europe, the U.S. and several regions in the Middle East. Blizzard Entertainment gamers (from America and Europe) also were faced with DDoS attacks that same weekend. On Saturday (9/7) operators behind twitter account “UkDrillas” claimed they were behind those attacks however there is no confirmation of who caused these attacks.
