Google partially reverts a controversial change

Google, in their most recent update to Chrome 69, made the change to unify log-ins between google services, like gmail and google’s search engine, and the chrome web browser. For the most part this only provides a bit of convenience where signing into one would sign you into the other. But for example, if you wanted to sign into your gmail but not sign into the browser to avoid your password being saved to the cloud you were unable to do so. Google felt the backlash and has announced the option to opt out of this sync in Chrome 70.
