There was a report on a big Instagram error that would allow bad people to try and access your information. This error was able to allow many hackers see everything you lookup and ever your private messages with people. Facebook (the owner of Instagram) confirmed there were no signs of this bug being used or any loopholes in there code, there were still many cases of this bug being used over and over again. They then updated their code and were able to fix this big issue that was being exploited.
