There is a new malware, T-RAT that is able to be remotely controlled from a Telegram Channel, It allows the attacker to steal the victim’s data before the RAT is even detected. The Telegram Based T-RAT is able to allow the attacker to retrieve browser passwords and cookies, go through the victim’s filesystem and find sensitive data, install a keylogger to the system, record microphone, take private screenshots of the victim’s desktop, take pictures with the webcam, and copy clipboard history. The T-RAT is able also steal cryptocurrency addresses. The T-RAT is also able to run terminal commands such as CMD and PowerShell, Block access to certain websites and kill processes and disable the task manager. It is one of the most easiest RAT’s a attacker can deploy due to ease of installation and use.
