Cybersecurity expert, Alex Holden, has been recently looking into the inner operations of Russian hackers. Holden has most recently talked to the FBI of a possible correlation between Russian hackers and the ransomware attacks in the cities of Racine and Oshkosh. He goes on to discuss how his findings show that the same group of Russian hackers made their first infiltration in computer systems in Racine and Oshkosh months before the attack. Oshkosh city officials have confirmed the Russian connection to the attack while the city of Racine remains unconfirmed of a possible Russian connection to the attack.
