Enhance cybersecurity awareness and survivability for DoD, industry partners, and academia in the face of the ever-increasing threat of cyber attacks. Cybersecurity (CS) includes managing risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information and the systems and processes used for those purposes, including analog and physical form. CS includes information availability, identification and authentication, confidentiality, integrity, and non-repudiation as well as the economic considerations with respect to selection of CS techniques, CS processes, and industry trends.

The article I posted above discusses the attacks that Russian Hackers have made against different companies and organizations worldwide. It was interesting that the article mentions an attack on a location not far from Utica, NY which was on an energy company in Pennsylvania that used nuclear power. In the news we hear about different attacks around the world but sometimes get the idea that it wont happen to us. The article describes how determined hackers can be and that stealing intellectual property is a serious threat to global safety.
