This malware dates back to 2013 where it hacked more than 100 U.S. companies. But, before getting discovered, it vanished. Now after 5 years it has been discovered by McAfee, setting up for new attacks. The attacks started in South Korea, attacking the public infrastructure projects and related financial fields. The victims open a document that auto installs Oceansalt which contains the malware.
