President Trump’s campaign website has been involved in a cryptocurrency scam. The attackers claim to have information regarding foreign interference in the 2020 election and proof that the Trump government was behind the origins of the coronavirus. The site allows a user to send funds to the attacker via cryptocurrency and click on a link that acts as a vote. The two options are: Yes, share the data and No, do not share the data. Trump’s communications director states that there was no sensitive data stored on the website and that they are working with law enforcement to investigate the scam.

Trumps campaign website was hacked Tuesday in a cryptocurrency scam. The website had a fake FBI notice with two wallet addresses and urges visitors to send funds and vote for documents to be released. Trumps campaign director said there was no exposure and nothing is sensitive is stored on the website and are working with law enforcement to investigate the source of the attack.
