Twitter has recently experienced a major outage that has affected users across the world. Twitter claims that there has been a few problems with its internal systems and there is currently no evidence of a security breach or hack. Users claim that the app was down for over an hour. For some the app is back up and running but the majority of the users say the app is still down for them. Twitter is still working on getting the app up and running again for all of its users. An error message was sent to the users saying “something went wrong” and “Tweet failed:Theres something wrong. Please try again later”. As of right now the Twitter team is still working on getting the app to work for everyone and they are still investigating possible scenarios that caused this issue.
