As high profile cyber attacks are becoming increasingly more common, people and businesses are re-evaluating their security practices online. But still, after all that, at least one in four Americans are using the same password for most or all of their accounts. This poses a gigantic security threat to themselves. Only one in five Americans say they use a different unique and creative password on every account. One third of Americans have also stated that they share passwords with friends and family members, such as unlock passwords for phones, and social media accounts.
