A group of researchers called Cymulate discovered a unpatched flaw in microsoft word the bug abuses the online video option in the word documents. When a user adds an online video link to the document it generates a HTML embed script, which is executed when the thumbnail inside the document is clicked by the viewer. The group found the flaw three months ago but microsoft didn’t make a change so they came out public with their findings.
