Dr. Jennifer Blum has 12+ years of expertise in cybersecurity algorithm development and advanced statistical data science methodologies for DoD and intelligence agency customers. She has designed and developed application programming interfaces (APIs), machine-learning algorithms, and critical cyber infrastructure for industry and government clients. She is currently the Principal Scientist at OptTek Systems, Inc., a company that specializes in optimization for modeling and simulation, where she utilizes her data science skills to address customer needs and finds new business opportunities. Dr. Blum is the second black woman to ever graduate with a Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of Michigan.
