After starting her career as a Marine Corps Communications Officer, followed by a brief stint in school to build race car engines, Karen Miller became a Project Manager working on a variety of Information Technology and Telecommunications Infrastructure projects. With ten years of project management experience, her projects have included process and application development in North Carolina, expansion and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure in Guam and Hawaii, and cybersecurity improvements in Texas. Karen’s education includes undergraduate and graduate degrees in Information Systems and Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. She has also obtained various certifications include the Project Management Professional Certification from the PMI and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2.
