Miron Livny, a professor of computer sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Chief Technology Officer at the Morgridge Institute for Research, and Director of the Center for High Throughput Computing, is a Principal Investigator for the Software Assurance Marketplace (SWAMP) and serves as its Director and Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for setting the technical direction for the project and for ensuring that the SWAMP continues to meet the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s technical requirements. Livny pioneered distributed high throughput computing with the HTCondor project. He also serves as a Technical Director for the Open Science Grid.
