Yuzhe (Richard) Tang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Syracuse University. His research is broadly focused on distributed systems and security, with current emphasis on applying secure multi-party computations and building trustworthy key-value stores. Dr. Tang earns his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Dr. Tang publishes papers in ICDCS, ACSAC, EDBT, HotCloud, CIKM, TKDE, TPDS, and serves in various technical program committees in venues such as ICDCS and TKDE. Dr. Tang is a recipient (first-author) of the Best Paper award in ACM/IEEE CCGrid 2015, and a co-recipient of the Best Paper award in IEEE Cloud 2012.
