Cybersecurity positions can require a varying degree of technical proficiency. Those that wish to pursue technical work such as programming or networking can excel in the security industry. However, those that desire a less technical profession can apply their cybersecurity knowledge to other areas such as policy, awareness, or management.

I would hardly be against the young people applying and certainly most “recruits” will come from there. However, maturity and experience should be paramount to “agency” hirings if not corporate ones.
Where does a person look for entry level jobs, say in the private sector with 6 years experience and degrees in Cyber? Really interested in Policy and Procedure on an Analyst standpoint.
Cybersecurity is a little bit vast, People has to be ready and willing to work, because a little delay from your side can cause major impact on the business side. for every IOT, the connection or the ports are the entrance for hackers to strike.
I wish we have all the controls at hand, if the hackers actually happen what is the time frame we have to bounce back, I mean the resilience time, needs to be put in consideration, which involves payments back to the customers and the legal fees.
